glad to see ur ok xD that looks like a brutal crash. i saw some pics of other p5 wrecks and i have reason to believe that our cars are pretty safe xD we were watching a physic vid of crash testing. those pics ya posted up look like the cars that scored really high. hehe take care!!

Yeh the left rear wheel of her car was about 100ft west of where her car stopped.

Glad your ok man. I had something similar happen to me on the freeway. My car hydroplaned and i hit a slow moving car in front of me. I spun out and rebounded against the center divider spinning back to the far right lanes. I was ok with only some brusing and cuts from shattered glass but i was alive. This all happened on Thanksgiving by the way.

Now you know why they were driving slower... Take a lesson.

Sorry to hear about your car but glad to hear you are ok. With all the stories of P5 owners in accidents lately it is comforting to know that none have been seriously hurt. The car can always be replaced!

P5 FTW! The benz's tire fell off... I'd expect more from a more expensive vehicle. Now I can show my moms that I'll be alright with my 6 airbags and Mazda confidence. Glad you're ok

oh, and how did your tires lock up? do you have the ABS? I didn't get mine new, so I'm not sure if it was standard or not. and did your side air bag curtains deploy?

ABS and side air bags werent standard it was a package from what i understand and read. depends on ur yr too i guess. xD if u wanna check, theres a little patch thing that says SRS sideair bags or something by the seatbelt area. also when u turn on the engine, the ABS light should go on for a little while. if u wanna check more, do what i did and go in a parking lot(with no cars) and drive like 5mph then do an emergency stop to see if ur car has ABS.u should feel a little notching when u fully depress the brake xD

from the looks of the pics, i think his was an '02 so i dont think he had ABS or side airbags hehe i could be wrong

Yup my car only had front airbags. It was an 02. It had no abs. I was told by the collison shop guy that her benz is also totaled.
