Texas Statewide Meet - Houston

Hey guys, Houston Mazda Crew would like to re-invite you to the Texas Statewide Meet in H-town the 18-20th of May. If you could make it, then great. Hit up the Statewide Meet Thread for details.

Here is a copy of what we set up so far. . . somethings might be changing, like what we might be doing Friday night (18th).

Alright as I promised. . . here is what I have come up with as far as the State Wide Meet in May.

If you can make all of this, great!! If not, then just try to show up whenever you can.


Dates -- May 18th - May 20th

Friday (May 18th) -- Initial meet at the Robertson Stadium Parking Lot of the University of Houston. Show off the cars and meet up face to face. Be there by 9 PM so we can make our presence felt at SE Teaworks.

Saturday (May 19th) -- Meet up again at Robertson Stadium Parking Lot for a ride out to G-town and a cook out at Crystal Beach.
Meet up again at Robertson Stadium Parking Lot at 9 PM again so that way we can party H-town style at downtown.

Sunday (May 20th) -- Last ride!! We take off from (again) Robertson Stadium Lot at 1 PM for one last ride around Houston.


Please let me know if you will be attending because I am in talks with some companies that print out shirts. If you will want one, then PM me and let me know what your size is and how many you want.

New to this forum, new to the MS3, but not new to Mazda!

I would like to join you guys on Fri or Sat, since it looks like those are the most exciting days, but I'd only be available on Sunday. *MAYBE* friday evening, but I literally don't have my car yet - I have to pick it up some day this week.

I used to be in the MX6 Houston ..thing... a while back. I'm wondering if any of the same people are around here.

There will be a big "Houston Driving Performance Cruise" on Sunday, so that may be something we might join.

So I'm picking up my car this evening. If I get to stop by on Sunday, which now my weekend sounds pretty full, where would I go to meet you and when?

Just a little FYI. I45 South/North & Nasa Rd1 will be shut down completely all weekend, and only the feeters will be open! The last time this happened it took hours to get to Galveston. Now add that with the best weekend weather to date this year.......Crazy Traffic!!! Something i do not want to be in.....Highway 3 will have madd traffic also.
