Test drove a G35 today...

Yes the G35c is nice but its still a cheaply built Nissan. One of my girlfriends has one and the interior is cheap like my Sentras. The dealer you went too wanted 35K for a 15,000 mile G? You can get a new one for that. Are you looking at used?
I don't know about being cheaply built...I played with most of the stuff on the interior, and none of it looked or felt cheap to me.
And the 35g's was for a fully loaded(EVERY possible option) 6spd. It had a sign in the window that said bluebook was 35g's, so that's not necessarily what they were asking, and that's not what I would have offered. Just a close estimate. The 04's base price is just over $35,000 so why not get a year old one fully loaded for the same price? And I'm not worried about the mileage...I put 15K on my car in about 5 months.

You know you can get an RX-8 for around $30k, right? ;) I actually like it a lot better than the G35 or the 350Z.
As much as I like them, I don't feel it's worth the money(to me).
i vote for 2002 s4. for me next year it's between s4, mcoupe, and maybe a bmw 8 series (probably not but a fun option :))
An S4 would be sweet too. My dad said they were pushing 40g's though. I don't want to spend over $35g's tops. An M series would be nice, although they are pretty expensive too...I guess as long as I keep saving money, the more my options will open though anyways...
If you're looking at the 4-door G35 , have you thought about the TSX. The reason is that I heard somewhere that there will be type-S version soon (don't quote me on that). There's also the Audi A4s. I've seen a few modified ones, really nice. :)
Yeah, a TSX Type-S would be nice. I saw another TL today, and I think its too big for me...Same with the G35 sedan. I'll have to take a look at some Audi's as well...Mmm...AWD:)

(nuts) Thanks...lol.
Yeah I was just looking at one cobalt blue S4 and it was 49k with afew options. I do like the G35c but the would change the headlamps which I hate. I use to work at a Nissan dealer. Where they would buy used auction Gs and they would have a lot of issues.

I'm surprised I've heard so many people say they don't like the headlights. Honestly, I would have liked to see the 350Z's headlights on the G35, but I really don't mind the look of them either way. I just don't really care for the taillights on the Z:p

The Z is like a hack job design i think anyways. I hate how most cars nowadays look like the current Altima.

I drove a Z vs. a G35 ( I work for Nissan and some kid traded a G35 in..on WHAT I dont know...) anyway the G35 sounds and feels like the Z..basically it is the Z. IMHO the 35 is much sweeter looking then the Z..but they are fun to drive. Now the Supercharged Z we have is much more awesome to drive then the 35..( I went playing (evil) ) but I don't know if you'll find a dealership up there crazy enough to SC a brand new car and void its warranty like we did (unforuntately no it wasnt a NISMO SCer..its VORTECH) Nice car still. The Z looks cleaply made to me. At least the outside door handles do, the armrests wobble funny, the brakes start to sqeak after a certain mileage...blah blah but what are you going to do its a redesigned car and you cant always get it right the first time. The sentras...don't even get me started on them....I know people who have had nothing but problems with them. I'll take my mazda anyday..but thats me. Glad you had a nice experience with the G35...I know I did. (naughty)

both my boyfriend's dad and my mom own G35's. i drive my mom's every chance i get. i just can't wait for her to go out of town again....

anyway...i LOVE that car. it's soooo sexy, and has such a nice feel to it. i love the way it drives. it's so fun, and constantly feels like it wants to be pushed to the limits. oh what i would give to take it to the track..........

i really don't understand how you guys think the interior in the G35 is cheap either...i think it's very tastefully done.

i also test drove a 350Z, and i did like it when i drove it, and actually preferred it over the G35 when they first came out, but the G35 has definitely grown on me over time. i would definitely take the infiniti over the z now.

unfortunately, all 3 that i have driven have been autos...but i can definitely imagine how much fun a manual would be. man...i'm drooling just thinking about it...

The G35 still isn't a BMW 3 series. But its better then the 325/330 with its 260hp and 6speed tranny. Personally I would prefer a 3 series. One thing I've noticed with the G35 is that I don't see to many of them around.

G35 is 280HP, 270 ft/lbs tq. ;) And don't for get an almost 50/50 weight distribution, and limited slip...
