tenzo r rims

hey guys i am looking at buying some new rims, in a TENZO R 18" type version 1 mesh rim black. i see that the rims comes in a 8" rim with a +42 offset. now will this rim work on our cars? i have been told by a shop here in calgary that none of the tenzo r rims fit, they suggeted an mmr rim. but i want the black mesh rim style no chrome and in dull black like a primer black. any ideas or suggestions would be great!!!

i'd say it would be safe to assume that the rim will pop out way past the fender. RX-8 rims are 18x8 with a +50 offset and it sticks past the front fender a mm or so....
