Thats right! I finally got around to install the springs. Freaking front endlinks were the worst to get off. I stripped the thread on one of the endlinks when tried to get it out, and had to go and buy a new one. Good thing that dealer had them in stock. Drop came out very even-2 finger distance between fender and wheel. Im happy! hehe. here are some pics.

Thanks bro! I like the way it dropped too. Although I kept the stock struts...they should hold for next year or two. Camber kit? nah bro, you need the camber kit only if you are dropping the car lower than 2 inches. But I would love to have that too, hehe. As far as alignment, I still didnt do it. Im letting the springs to "adopt" for about 2-3 days, then Ill do the alignment.

my baby lion found her way into the ass end of an altima. there are moere pics in another thread in this forum. accdient pics.

How do you like the springs ,I just installed mine yesterday ,it took me 2 hrs . I love the drop as wellas the better handling .

MotegiMazda, that really sux. Are you going to get it fixed? Any colateral damage to ur baby?

Macklum: I like the springs very much. Drop is owesome, although I get the clunking noise from the rear. Seems like its coming from rear right. I checked both rear struts on top, and all the bolts are tight. Maybe springs suppose to clunk when they sattle in. But its getting annoying now. Car doesnt feel shaky at all, so all the struts are tightened good. Handling is owesome, but I do have to get the alignment done now.

I want to get her fixed. As far as colateral damage Im not sure the adjuster hasnt contacted me yet about the car. If its totaled It will suck but I have gap insurance so I dont have to pay for a car I cant even drive.

i'd wait about a week unless you drive a lot and over a lot of varying road textures and smoothness.

my local garage told me i needed camber kits to fix the alignment after putting springs on my car......(bird)

i told them to shove it, and took my car down the street, under an hour, aligned no issues.

Dis, the drop looks good man! You might wanna double check your right rear if it is clunking though, the spring might of not settled right in the seat. I can't wait to see the drop in person at the fun run. Looks good! TEIN is the best.

GIMME SOME LOVE (rofl) dude man, my rear right DOES clunk. AND I FOUND WHY!!! Its the top of the strut where the nut and that weird washer (like a bowl shape) go on. The thread on the strut is too short and nut doesnt tie the strut to the chassis good enough. All I need is a 1/2 bolt diameter washer by 1 1/8 outside diameter. Take the top nut off (center nut) put the washer in and tighten the nut again. I found the thread about it from a year ago. I didnt realize that ***EVERYBODY*** has rear right clunking after installing springs and coilovers.

Hey DIS glad you found the noise . Maybe you could post the link and then a mod could make it a sticky ,so all can benifit form the post

well, I just did what was described in a thread which was posted a year ago. IT DIDNT GOD DAMN HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Horse s***, I still get clunk noise. I Think I will need different washers or something. If that wont help I have to take the whole strut/spring asembly out again and check if bump stopper is in right position. DAMN IT!!!

Looks good.. i would double check the endlinks, and make sure the spring is sitting properly on the strut.
