I do have HIDs, but I don't think that makes the difference but I haven't looked at any other cars.MM3Canuck said:do you have HID's?
I dunno if the factory HID need more space behind the socket

I have LEDs all around and they work nice

Mine looks pretty similar. I can see the sockets but there is no way I can get my fingers in there to twist the sockets. I'll have find a place to hire a monkey to do it. (monkey2) (monkey)MM3Canuck said:Not the best pic, but you can sorta see the space to get your hand in.
I'll have another go at it in the daylight. Thanks for the advice.MM3Canuck said:BUT maybe, maybe it is just easier to remove the HID thing that sticks out, then you have access to your turning bulbs.

Don't buy the "7440 bulb base with 3 1 Watt LED's pointing straight. Brightest 7440 bulb on the market!"
Since the LED's are only pointing straight, none of the light is actually reflected in the tail light itself. The light output is actually less than with stock bulbs.
I learned the hard way and had to exchange mine for the "7440 bulb base with 15 LED's 9 pointing straight and 6 pointing at an angle."
Those work really well, and give you full reflection. Not too much brighter than stock, but nice and clear now. I also put some super bright red Leds in the interior spot lights and have only those come on with the doors open, looks really nice.
I also installed the "31mm Festoon 6 LED Bulb" & "194 1 LED Super Bright Wedge Bulb"
The look amazing and fill your interior with a nice HID looking light. Defiantly a good investment. Plus, they are very easy to install.
