suspension question

whats up everyone just wanting to get some opinions here on struts/shocks for the MSP. i have ground control coilovers, but it seems as if the combination doesnt really satisfy what im looking for in the ride. im looking for some new shocks other than tokico to give me a little bit more forgiveness on the ride quality when lowered. i believe ive read that they are good only up to a 1.7 in drop. im wanting to keep the springs because so far they've been great but want some adjustable shocks. thats where the opinions come in on what brand i should use???????
thanks

get either tokico illuminas so you can set them to soft, or some stock sedan struts if you want a cheap fix.

The Illuminas would be a good choice, but the stock sedan struts with the GC coils will give you a ride that sucks ass compared to the stock setup IMHO.

(hump) (blah) (hump) (blah) Do yourself a favor(not bagging you...seriously) Decide what is more important to you... Daily driving or racing(real racing...where you actually turn?) The stock suspension on our MSP's will out handle 99% of all stock vehicles. Yes that includes Ferrari's. Pretty much will out handle anything but an Evo, Viper, Vette, Z06, and the father, son, and holy ghost.....the 911, GT2, and GT3! Dude I put GC coilovers on my civic and I absolutely hated them. Could never get them all even on all 4 corners, and they rode like utter s*** even with the Koni Yellows I put in. I'm telling you from experience...the stock setup on the MSP rides and handles much better than anything you can get from the ground controls, plus they're more reliable. If you want my honest opinion, you should pull the GC's sell them to someone with a regular protege, and go back to the racing beat setup.
