SunScreen (factory)

Has anyone bought and is using the factory ($40) Sunscreen? How does it work and is it effective? Thanks Eddie

We bought as well. Was one of the first things for the 7. That window is so huge that it really needs the factory one. Not sure where we got it but was a forum sponsor if i remember.

I was hoping this was about a tint strip for the upper portion of the windshield. Looks like I will have to go to a local tint place for a little strip. The windshield is very large the sun is bothersome much longer.

I had my windows tinted and had a extra dark piece placed at the top of the windshield. Move the visor to the down position and project a line straight into the windshield. Where the line meets the windshield is how much the tint covers. I believe the tint piece is about 8 inches top to bottom although mine has a slight curve to it. It helps alot. Ed

I use the ones I had for my mustang. It's a 2 piece set and they are the spring open ones. They fold down to about an 8 inch circle. I bought them at WalMart for $10-15. But they aren't long enough for the whole windshield so i have to set them against that little ridge in the middle of the dash where the info display is.

They probably aren't as effective this way since there is some black dash visible to the sun, but it's sure better than nothing.
