well summer is almost here, and until i am out of school i cannot buy any parts :( so fixing my tune is first on the to do list! the car is tuned right now but i get hesitation like a mofo, i assume i just need to retune and i will be all good. i believe the only thing i need to start tuning is the cord that connects my comp to the SSAFC? is this correct? i have the software and have been doing a lot of reading and want to start playing around and see what i can get out of this car. i will admit this will be my first time tuning but i do have a couple friends that know a lot and are going to be helping me out. i am going to be taking it extremely slow because i can not afford to ruin my car. let me no if i am on the right track guys

yes sir if you are going to be street tuning it (which is what u should do) just increase or decrease in SMALL increments, and then run it again and adjust and keep doin that untill u reach your afr's that u want, if u change the values quickly u risk detonation by leaning it out hard!

awesome thanks man. now i just need to get the cord. is there anywhere i can just buy the cord? does anyone have one for sale? would anyone be willing to help a fellow msp out and help me tune it? i would really like to have someone who knows a lot more than me just take a look at the car and see how its doing.

id recommend someone tuning it for you. beause if you dont know what your doing you can cause alot of damage. idk about you or how much you know about it but i dont trust myself to do it lol

Anyone know how much getting it tuned by a shop might run? I've got an SSAFC on order from PG, and although I'd like the satisfaction of tuning it myself, I'd rather do my car right than feed my ego. Any good shops in the Orlando area?

some shops do it by a flat rate also though. like the first 3 hours costs a certain amount then after that or after the alloted time it costs 100 an hour or around there

after readying the u-tune ,http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/show...Second-PSC1-Map-Library&p=4093422#post4093422, many many things became much more clear. i read the entire instruction manual and boy was it a huge help, and for almost $100 per hour i think i will take my chances lol. i have always wanted to tune my own car and this seems to explain everything you need to know. should be alot of fun and it will be much more satisfying when i can say i did it and not someone else.
