Dont have the amp, or the alternator for that matter, to push L7's to their potential. but that would be awesome to hear/feel.

Why the hell is Andrea putting a sub in? She hates bass. When she rode in my car, I had to turn the subs completely off cause it made her carsick or something...

i got 128.5 with street beats on my car (factory headunit and door speakers though) and 135.x with a IASCA bass tester cd

Yup. I still have factory speakers all around and with factory headunit I was still making 138. The CVX is the same model as the Kicker L7's, but in a round version. They were new for 2006. One is more than enough and I couldn't be happier with it.

LOL. The increase in sound quality of your system overall when adding a sub is undeniable. I don't have mine for blowing out eardrums or windows, just so you know it's there. Adds a lot to the music IMO to have a quality sub setup.

Where the hell did you put 8 cubic feet and why did you need that much? lol The max necessary for two 12" L7's would be like 4 cubic feet for a sealed box, and if it was ported, max would be around 6.5 cubic feet.

a friend of mine is givin me his 15" sub w/ an 1100watt amp. forget brand/model, but it kicks. nothin like generosity. i'll post pics later. right now i got 2 p.o.s. 10" visoniks w/ a 400watt audiobahn amp.

has anyone here ever made fiberglass housings for the front of the car? i'd like to throw some 6.5"'s at my feet some day

Nice. Havn't made anything fiberglass, but you'd be better off asking this question in the car audio forum. Hope this helps.

this is actually another option i want....cuz i dont really want to sacrifice trunk space..but i bet this might take up the rear passenger seat space?.....i saw another setup where the subs where the other way around...ill try and find the pic and post it later

i wont b needing 3 subs...im prolly gona go for 2 10" or 1 12"....im not really looking for a whole lot of base so i dont need too much pounding

the spare tire sub interests me as well

im planning to install subs and for the people who have subs can you post pics of you installation?

I have two ideas of where to put it...i was thinking of either taking out the spare tire and if it fits put one 12" there or.....

in the trunk...behind the taillights there is two spaces...i was thinking of making a fiberglass box from the (how to) and put one 10" sub on each side

advice n stuff?

i wanna do some custom audio work sometime..but not a lot. just a lill junk in the trunk...or something.
