That's OK....I'm sure it's an improvement over the stock bar in weight and stiffness.

Cool...I'll find the tire weight and subtractaroni. I was looking at the Wedssports TC-005 in 16X8 but Tirerack only offers 1 offset and it's like -34. That would work perfect on the front, but the back would stick out pretty bad. I would have to get used to not getting so close to the cones. I noticed though that I wouldn't gain much extra tread width by going with the 245/45-16 Hoosiers relative to the extra weight. They claim to only be about .2" wider than the 225.122 Vega said:I'll weigh them with the Falkens on when I get back home.

I think the tire issue is moot. We'll see next year.

I just fit a 235/40/17 tire on a 17x8 47+ Offset wheel on the car.122 Vega said:I have measurement photos around here somewhere, I think they are in Xelderx's thread about coilovers. The car will go a bit lower when I put the eight inch springs in and put the shorter tires on. This is probably not going to be my daily driver anymore, so it can be uncomfortably low.
A 235/40/17 would fit, but I don't know how low you can go.you'd definitely have to roll the fender lip. As far as the spring perch, I have no idea.
