I am suprised he knew about a speed3, I rarely get hit on to race.
The cobalt SS turbo model coming out soon will be quicker than the speed3 by just a little bit. Still down to driver skill in most situations.
Must have been stage 2 or something because a stock one doesn't stand a chance on the hwy.

"Dude with a stock Cobalt SS is sure gonna be upset when he runs into a modded MS3!!!"It's going to be a sad day for a 08 Cobalt SS turbo owner when he / she runs into a MS3 with a few bolt-ons.
Its numbers are testing as well or better than the MS3, by everything I've read. I think your buttdyno is biased.the new ss is out yes... it is not as fast as the sp3. gm says it is but drove one and it is slow off the line. engine doesn't want to spool fast. has good upper end power but no low power. still has a crappy gm manual that prob. came out of grandpa's buick...

What.
So basically you're saying that if you take two cars which perform nearly identically, mod one of them, the modded one would win.
Well that's a shocker.
And you're also assuming what the attitude of a new Cobalt SS driver is, that they think they will be walking MS3's all day long.
competition is good. Otherwise we would all still be driving around pintos and vegas.
