Street Prepared build

Ok guys...few things are going up for sale in the next week or so. Biggest thing is a set of Delsing Camber Plates. Figured you guys might want first dibs on them since you can't buy them anymore. They will fit the stock shocks on the 3rd Gens. $300 shipped.
I'm guessing they wont fit the Illuminas then huh?

The delsing camber kit will fit stock, Tokico struts, and any other struts that use the OEM top mounts.

ohh, I thought the illuminas where different than the blues/stock struts? Isn't that a prob you came into when designing a camber plate? Or am I mixing things up again?

I'm getting rid of the suspension, but at this point my coilover sleeves and springs are spoken for. That only leaves the camber plates and JDM adjustable struts available. The struts are pretty busted up, but if anyone wants to look into getting them repaired (they are made by KYB...might be able to find a shop to work on them) we can work something out. I can let them go pretty cheap. I'm also getting rid of my Kosei K1 15X7 rims. I have them with or without tires. I just picked up a set of used A3S04's to go on them. I'll have a proper FS thread as soon as I can get some pictures of everything.

the TEINs used all the stock parts from the rubber mount to the strut mount. It used the stock hole the piston goes through and nut.

The problem with the Teins is they use the stock upper spring mount, IIRC. The Delsing plates only work with coilover setups that don't use the stock upper spring perch.

ok, well, still interested in the Koseis

Hee hee hee... Koseis going away too? What do you have in mind for replacing them? :D

Circle Racing Rims...14X8. They are 3lbs heavier than the Koseis, but the 14" tires will be 3lbs lighter so no gained weight. Basically it will give me and extra inch width without sacrificing anything.

plus the weight will be closer to the center of rotation, so your moment of inertia will be less. i'm surprised 14" rims fit over the brakes.

they are a tad different, but if they use the oem top mount, they should be fine with the Delsings. xelderx made a good point about the Teins retaining the spring mount like the tokicos do, but the Teins should work.

Awesome, probably lower OD which would help the gearing on tight courses (which are pretty much all I have around here).

FYI on miata.net forum there's a guy looking to do a group buy on 14x8.5 or 9 rota wheels :)

Those would be a good buy. I may buy a set just for my scab 710s.

I wonder if they will do them in a 5 bolt pattern for me?

You normally need like 5 people per pattern I think. Buy me a set and I'll pay you back later, promise ;)

might be easier to backdate the car to 4-lug. ;)

Crossed my mind, but then I would have to give up my uber elite RX7 rims. I got the AWR coilovers installed tonight. Lets just say it wasn't the easiest install I've ever done. I still have to pull the rears back off the car and do a little grinding on the rear camber plates. I've got them as far in as they will go and I still have positive camber. I need to get it aligned tomorrow before the race this weekend so I'm going to be in a pinch all morning to sort it out. i was lazy and forgot to take my camera with me so no pictures right now.
