any loss in fm reception?
where did u get it (lexus dealer)?
cost?
(lick)

Reception seems the same, you have to use a heli coil to mount it, as it is a slightly smaller thread. I didnt though, I just wrapped the lexus antenna threads carefully with a piece of thin bare copper wire, then it just screwed in perfectly. Tightened up real nice.
As far as the price, Im not sure. I made a comment to a friend that one of them would look good on my car, and about 2 days later he had one for me. I didnt ask.

tell that to an s2000 or an a4 1.8t
I have. More than once. And the guys shrugged.

I just dont like it at all myself. Looks like you're trying to compensate for having a slow ass protege/civic/whatever else. Now with a turbo, I wont say anything about it, cause it almost sorta kinda makes sense. But a dead stock engine? Nah. I mean I've seen 1000 HP Supras and Skylines that have one exhaust. Why would a car with 1/10 that power need twice as much room to breathe?

I totally agree on the minimalist thing. 90% of the people have seen so few of MP5's around here they dont know what I've done to mine. And as far as breathing better, he talked about needing 2 banks of cylinders to justify duals? You will have a very hard time to find any stock v6's,v8's or even v10's that have true duals anyways. They all go headers to a "y" pipe then to one cat then they split again to the duals in the back. its about looking symetrical in my opinion. With the one big pipe on one side I thought it looked a lot like my kids Muscle Machine micro tuner things, with the way oversized turbo, rims, exhaust, etc.. Almost a caracture (however you spell it!) of a real car. Cartoon like. So I used 2 of the mazdaspeeds to balance it out. And since as of this weekend I do have the turbo in, I guess thats ok then.

Well congrats on the turbo. I wish I had one... But as for the stock dual pipes thing, I never said anything about stock. Is your car stock? No. Did I say anything about stock in my last two posts? No. But even a v-6,v-8, etc with fake duals has them where it's just the pipe poking out usually with a very nice, deep, dual toned sound. A Mazda with two big fart tips (an axle back muffler that just makes it louder with no appreciable perfomance gain is a fart tip, and I have one too) sticking out the back just doesnt do it for me at all.

Extra muffler = extra weight! I'm actually running a single exhaust on my 5.0 LTD, but not by choice. The fuel pump is in the way.

I've always thought that dual exhausts on 4-cylinders were pointless and even ricey, but that's just me!
