Stereo Code?

I want to add a third party auxiliary unit (http://indashpc.org/new/aux_adapters/car2aux-maz.html ), if I install it myself, do i have to worry about some special code or anything for the six-disc changer unit(bose)? I don't want to fubar up my new (used) 2007 cx7 gt, or for a total newbie like me, should i have a shop install it?

be careful! Here's the gotcha, direct from that webpage: "Mazda CX-7 07-08 (not navigation)"

Just wanted to throw that out there. You didn't say if you had the Tech Package which also has the 6 disk Bose (Nav) or 6 disk Bose without the Nav.

Also, if you have SIRIUS installed, there may be a conflict.

As for codes, I've never seen that mentioned in any of the other posts on this forum. So you may be safe. Other forum members will have more experience, than I.

yeah, no navi...i'm still new, i hate the factory ipod connector that i had installed...good ol' aux jack for me...
