steering wheel

hey guys
was wondering if anyone had a how to on replacing the stock steering wheel in a 03 MP5?
i wasnt too sure, what with the air bag.
i did a search on the "how to" section and came up blank.
if anyone has an idea, pass it along.

there r screws onthe sides, they r covered by black rubber plugs

Open your hood find the fuse to the horn remove it first
Underneath the steering wheel at the bottom you will see rubber caps remove them under that you will find scews, unsrew those the airbag will come out. Under the airbag there are more scews to remove the wheel.

Yeah just three simple steps...but if you screw up, you could knock you head off...literaly!

If you have to ask how, you shouldn't be taking the airbag out yourself; you're not qualified.

well my airbag is probably useless cuz last year i hit someone head on going about 30mph and my airbag didnt even pop out!

Airbags normally diploy at the worst times so be careful when removing.
As far as not deploying...ah quit ya bitchin you lived
(just kidding thats actually kinda ****** up) anyone know where the exact location of the sensor is for the airbag on the p5?

The stock steering wheel in my P5 is the best wheel of any car I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot of cars. Why are you thinking of replacing it?

You know, I always thought my brake calipers were pretty ugly. I think I'll take them off.

...and those damn seatbelts. Who ******* uses those things? All they do is flap in the wind when I have my windows open. I think I'll remove them too... That'll help with the weight reduction ya know.

ya my airbags are useless since i hit a parked car doing 60 and i hit the airbag sensor and they didn't go off and yes i lived. so that is why i dont care abt changing my wheel once my new one gets here from italy.

He is not dropping the airbag at all. He is just changing the wheel from a P5 to MSP wheel.
