Steering controls for P5 stereo?????

I have a 2003 P5 and it doesn't have the steering module for the stereo, which I have on my 2003 MPV and like. Is this module available and is it just a matter of plugging it into the steering wheel or is there another vital piece missing to make it work? I have searched the forums and came up empty with answers to this question.

I've never heard of this option being available for the p5.

is the p5 stereo the same as the MPV? if not you could probably get an MPV system at a JY and swap it.

That there was an option for this on the P5 and there is a plug on the left side of the wheel. Perhaps I will see if the module from the MPV will fit and if it does anything.
