Just put this piece back on. I started this one as the test piece and I think it came out pretty good. I'm going to do the rest next week and start ordering the CF pieces I want. Comments please... :D

It has some gloss on it right now but I'm going to let it sit a few days and wet sand it again with 400 and add more gloss. So I guess it'd be called semi-gloss right now. lol

My cup holder/shifter trim is scratched all to hell. I have been thinking of painting it. How did you prep before painting?

If you want it to last a long time and be very glossy have a body shop paint it with the same paint you would use for the exterior panels.

I started drysanding it with 220 grit sandpaper and then wetsanded it with 400 to get to the smooth, bare plastic. Then I put 3 layers of a spray primer and wetsanded that with the 400. Then I sprayed it with the yellow. I should have let the yellow dry and then wetsanded it but I was impatient so I just threw the clear gloss on. I'm going to wetsand it again with 400 and reapply the clear.

I recently painted the interior pieces yellow as well. Still not completely happy with it as there are some imperfections, those will all be sanded down and repainted before show season but for now they look fine. Good luck and nice work btw.
