i gotta 03.5 ti MSP and was thinking of getting a 05 srt-4....anybody hear of some really problems they have?...

i wouldn't , but i am not a fan of dodge, i would get to aggravated trying to roll down the rear windows

Despite the nay-sayers the car is solid mechanically.

However.... it's a dodge = American = crappy interior and cheap plastics.

they are a good mechanically built car like ppl are saying and they have a very good powerplant, but it will handle no where as good as the MSP does. They where ment for one thing and that was a straight line.

a couple of my friends have them and there is a ton of them around my area there all the same yes they are strong motors but they breaks axles alot and i hear they have ter. oil blow by cam sensors mess up alot Also to sum it up....... its a NEON

Good car, solid engine, easy to mod, handles very well (though not MSP level), very good car. Try to find one stock or with basic bolt on's there are still a few out there that haven't been beat on too badly. Very good quick car, but interior is on the cheap side, that being said the seats, shifter and steering wheel are nice.

And if you have a wreck youn are potentiously ******. Every pic ive ever seen of a wrecked srt4 looked like a beer can had been put through a blender. meanwhile i flipped my protege at ~ 50mph and walked away without so much as a scratch. Besides, ive taken out srt4's in my protege and for the comfort level of the interior, the inferior handlnig, and the much inferior looks (personal opinion alert), id never trade my msp for one. They are very quick cars in the right hands though.

sucks that its a dodge but just as everyone said, craptastic interior, watch for crap to break from too much power...

Huge trans problems when you start making decent power. My buddy has been through 4 in the past 2 years and he only puts 350 to the wheels.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it's hella fast in a straight line but if I don't want him to follow me all I have to do is turn.

Buying used "performance" cars such as the SRT-4 can end in heartbreak.. usually because you don't know if they formerly had performance parts, you don't know if the prior owner beat on it, etc etc.

Stay away.. The devil you know is better than the one you don't.
