squeak from rear

Im just wondering if anybody is having the same issue with their MP3 that i am getting from mine. I have a bad squeak coming from the rear end. Mainly when its cold. Has anybody else has this problem and if so what is the best thing i can do to fix it.

is it the bushins? mine r squeakin from the front for sure every bump when its cold but after u warm it up like 20 mins or so then they stop squeakin. idk who to check but i am 100% positive

yea same everytime i hit a bump or somethin my car goes down then it sqeaks so loud... lol i just play some loud ass music to drown it out. but im hopin someone will make some new bushin for the front, but if u want u can just try to grease up the bushin that might help but make sure u get some wtih silicon cuz thats like made for rubber pieces n stays on better than like wd-40

WORD! I just play my music as loud as I can. Speed bumps are the worst and there are a s*** loAd in my appartment complex and at my office. Also if anyone knows where I can find a stock shift knob that would be great. The douche who owned it before me put a damn automatic shift knob on it I replaced it but the one I got blows.

The sway bars get smaller when its cold so there is more room for them to move in the bushings making them squeak. Just grease them up and they should be fine. I greased my rears about 4 months ago and they are now starting to squeak a little and the fronts I need to do because they are loud now.

I use a graphite grease, any grease really will do.

LOL, you guys are funny...

The best grease I've used for the swaybars is a synthetic caliper/brake grease. Lasts for ever. Think it was from sta-lube.

so then how do I go about greasing the bushings

remove the swaybar mounts on the chassis.
remove bracket off of bushings.
remove bushings from sway bar.
grease inside of bushings/sway bar itself.
button everything up.

The last time my bushings were replaced they did one end link too and this seems to have eliminated the squeak I was getting.

well its to late here in richmond, va to dam cold to work on the car n no garage or anythin so ill just have to deal with this till summer is here, dam it sucks, unless i use some kind of spra on it n the spary doesnt freeze, cause it was about 12 degress this mornin when i woke up n started to go to school after 5 mins of walkin on campus almost froze my legs off... WoW forgot how cold was lol u guys getin cold yet?
