03, another orange one. Vic if the UDP has to come off.. help me..
I don't know what the hell i'm doing..

UDP kills your oil pump and you don't want to underdrive the heart of your engine. It has been shown on various cars to cause oil pump problems.
Oil pump failure = engine/turbo kaput. The oscillations and vibrations from removing the factory crank pulley also throw the internals out of balance. This is why the stock crank pulley is also called a harmonic balancer.

Steph: You'll need a pulley puller and an impact probabaly to get the bolt out of the pulley, unless you have a special tool that holds the crank in place while u break it loose with a breaker.
Start by jacking up the car remove the passenger front wheel. Remove the side splash shields. Remove the drive belts, then go after the crank pulley bolt and use the puller to press the pulley off the crank. Install in reverse order. Check the belts tension and your set. You will probably need new OEM drive belts b/c the UDP uses diff sized ones.
