Spec miata question

I want to run spec miata and was wondering if there is a site with all the info on it and which year car would be best to run 94 99 thanks

From what I here it's cheaper to buy a used racer than build your own. And unless you want to do it just for fun, as with any racing you need deep pockets to be a front runner.

I'm not 100% but i've heard some reagons have banned the '99. but a 94/95 would make a good runner.

Also, i don't know if they have it in your region, but Spec rx-7 is very cost friendly, and unlike spec miata actually has real rules so everyone has a shot.

Spec Miata is a wicked class. It's not untypical to have a significant amount of contact, especially with the front runners, in a single race. Furthermore, there's always some "interesting" tuning happening under the hood whereas it's not uncommon to find a "stock" 1.6 Miata putting down 120+ HP to the wheels. That's not to imply that there is cheating involved, but some very crafty mechanical work, tuning, and/or engineering to get the engines to a dead nuts stock tolerance, weight, etc.
