Spark plugs

New to Mazda and on of the first mods I see listed is you basic tune up wires, plugs coils pcv etc I was wondering I hear people talk about this longer spark plug vs the oem supposedly better performance ... Newbie question but will that 1.6 aka longer plug work with the 2.0??? Cause I really don't know to much about mazdas coming from all vw's just wanna make sure the longer plug won't hit the Pistons thanks in advanced

I've been using the longer plugs in mine with no issues. The difference was negligible for me, but others have reported definite improvement.

I believe a set of plugs is around 10 bucks, if you don't like them for some reason, you're not out very much to go back.

Please just make sure you get ngk plugs and wires

Ok so the first 100 miles with the new long reach plugs so far I've noticed better idle, smoother acceleration and so far I'm pleased with this simple mod so as for gas mileage don't know yet cause I keep pushing the throttle more and more so next tank with mid grade or better I'll do a base line
