hey, im getting ready to install my first mods and i wasnted to double check the gap on these plugs before i put them in. what have you guys typically been gapping them at?? thanks.

I gapped my NGK BKR7E's at .028"

Runs fine. I picked that gap because that is what the four factory installed NGK PZFR6F's where gapped at.

Here is a pic of my factory plugs, they didn't look bad at all. I ran them for a few days with the boost turned up to 10psi.

I want to go two steps colder just to be safe. Is the part number NGK BKR8E? I think that the higher the number the better the heat transfer in the plug. ANybody know for sure or if that plug even exists?

You can check at

http://www.sparkplugs.com

But I don't think you really need to go with 2 steps colder. I think the 7E's will work for your application.

Yeah I just picked some BKR7Es up on my lunch break. NGK doesn't make anything colder than that for the car. Need a much longer extension to to change them though. Holy crap they are way down there.

What looks like platinums? The factory units that I pulled out, or the BKR7E's I installed?

Does n e 1 know a good place to find a good priced torque wrench? Because I need to change my spark plugs soon...
