So, does the auto function on the HUD work if you don't use the auto function on the headlights?

My understanding from the manual and experience is that the two are independent, but others may correct me.

Hmm, this happens to me once in a while. I will set the dim and height of my windshield display to a custom setting then one day, it just automatically resets to default. The odd reason is all other settings like lighting, safety and other settings remain except for the dashboard lighting and my windshield display screen heights. I don't really getting it check since it only happens maybe once every other month.

Next time your in for a service, get it looked at. Also taken some phone footage so if it doesn't happen when you take it in, you can show that footage.

I drive by my Mazda dealership every day, so I dropped in on them. They hooked the vehicle up to their computer and reset something. My Active Driving Display works perfectly now. (cool)
