that cool just straigten it out im sure we won t know who did what cause its really not our biz nor should we care which admin did it. The main point of this thread is to get your attention antoine and have the better fixed.

My honest opinion in the matter is let people have control of thier sigs and if thats not suitable for you guys then just remove them or give less space but i tihnk if the person being advertised for is an AV then it doesnt really matter. They pay their dues for a small amount of exposure and thats what their getting and if people love thier products or just know that thier good guys (protegegarage) then thats how itll go down theyll show their love to the company by doing thier part.

Aric - it wasn't the pic that wasn't the main thing that wasn't forum friendly. I wasn't stupid enough to click on that link from work. The URL alone was bad enough. I got a complaint about it, so that's why I asked you to change it. You DID change it, but what you're leaving out to everyone in this thread is that you changed to a REALLY smartass sig. After that, it looks like someone put you on a temporary ban. Morale of the story? Don't be an asshat and you won't get banned.

Cliff notes of this thread:

-Aric discovers he was banned
-He convinces other people that he shouldn't have been, because he did nothing wrong but link to a crappy MSPaint pic in his sig
-Turns out the pic had nothing to do with it, and him being a smartass is probably what got him banned, even though he was politely asked to comply with forum rules
-His temporary ban appears to be over now

Yes I have to agree with whoever placed the temporary ban. Aric was asked to remove something from his signature because other members have complained to the moderators about it. He refused to do so, and instead acted like a smartass. The temporary ban was put into effect as a warning that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.

I ASKED him to change his sig. I left it up to him, because I'm a chill mod like that. What you're suggesting is far more intrusive.

okay, temporary bans are being used, and there's the proof, but as for the comments about the mods and admins...at the end of the day, we all have the same interests here, knowledge of the cars...to call us nazis and s*** is just ****** up, and totally disrespectful to anyone, not just admins, but humans in general.
