just wondering becuase i forgot to clarify my stance!
i'm not gay.. quite hetero... but i'm in very liberal in most subjects..
i believe ALL people are created equal in rights (spandex is a priviledge, not a right)... all people do not grow up to believe that.
I know gays that believe they are simply an evolved form of humanity, and i know straight people that think gays are less than human... both groups of people are stupid.
they are People.. People are People and as such, have the same rights as all others. I don't like flaming homosexuals, or bible thumpers, but people are allowed to believe what they want, and i'm allowed to tell them that i **** babies on foggy Tuesdays... it's an equal world whether or not ignorant christians or self-righteous gays want it to be that way.

no they aren't. there is no Federal law against it.
there is not law saying 2 men can't get married.
The vote will not go to the people, because it's not up to the religious nuts to come out in droves over something they're against. (people that are 50/50, about half the country, wouldn't go out and vote cuz they don't really care either way) although Canada's election process is one of the world's best, we don't use it for everything, especially not things that touch religion.
The gov't has done very liberal things before... people weren't comfortable with it at the time, but now it's just natural, and we love it. The old people that think gays aren't people will eventually die off, and the new generation of acceptants will grow up and never know the difference.
