It will have a fun time with Heatsoak.
Sam at *************.com replied to me that it is less resistant to heat and expansion then the stock plastic

Less resistant, as in it expands and soaks up heat more than the stock plastic pipe? I just wanted to make sure that's what you meant so that people don't jump on it thinking the opposite.

That's souns like they are worse.
Maybe he meant more.
Go figure.

why would he say something about HIS product if it promotes negative results??? in my opinion, it seems that this would creat much better results due to the stronger and less expansive material, unlike PLASTIC...silicone's expansive properties are much less than that of plastic.....atleast one would think.....then again, im no chemist!

The part is better than the stock plastic pipe, period. It doesn't expand when heated up and is better at resisting heat from the engine bay keeping and is better than any metal piping b/c silicone doesnt absorb or retain heat in the material.
I may have worded it wrong in the email. I have one of each black, blue, red left in stock.

Correction on my part, I meant more resistant to heat and expansion, I was thinking in my head it will heat soak less and expand less.

I am getting one of these as soon as I have the extra cash

any thought of producing the other IC pipe as a set? also, if black isnt in stock, how long would it take to produce more?

I theoretically could if someone can donate their old plastic pipe for R&D. But since its a big piece the price will prob be a lot as well. Here's some pics of it installed.

Pics of it installed on a stock msp and the red one.
PM me for details.

Thanks for the pics.

Did you notice any difference in drivability?
Is black still available?

Looks like you are stock like me.

That's not my car. It's a pic from one of the local guys cars that just got one.
You'll have to buy 2 slightly bigger clamps to bolt it down also. The stock clamps are a tight fit if you choose to reuse them. The guy with this says his idle is smoother since he put it on. His car is stock for now. This hose will help a lot more if you boost more than stock. You can reuse this pipe later if you use a fmic that runs the piping in same location of the factory intercooler with slight modification to the piping. Contact Crossover for the inventory information.

Hey, this is my car. Yes it is completly stock except for the pipe. So far I love it it. The only real noticable difference that I've have noticed is the better idling like Sam said. The fit seems just right and there are no leaks. I'm sort of new to this whole scene so I'm not really sure if I can notice and other changes in the drivability. Overall it is a great product and I love it, it looks good too. It is well worth the money. Hopfully sometime soon I can get a boost controller and up the boost to let you know if it has any effects then. I recommend this product and buy one through Sam, he's a great guy.

I just bought a red Samco hose from Sam at Crossover (great doing business with you!). I have to say the craftmanship on the pipe is excellent and it looks cool too! I hope to install it this weekend (or maybe the next, hangover permitting ;-). I don't expect any noticable gains, but it will help with future fitment issues when I get a new SMIC.
