his name is chris, whats your name? maybe he knows you too!
yeah im not saying its not good, its just that i would spend the money on something else.. and plus the MSP shifter is much shorter then the regular protege'sMotegiMazdA said:weird. I love my B&M..no problems. but then again I dont have a MSP
Everyone knows me as Jo
yeah, you are the first person i have heard say that...then again, i do not own a msp either, so the stock one may be short enuf for you....(dunno)mazdaspdprotege said:my advice is DONT get a short shifter. just get the bushings and change the tranny fluid to synthetic. ive tryed the Kartboy for 3 months and the B&M for another 3 months, i wish i had saved my money for something else. i recomend getting the front motor mounts instead of a short shifter. short shifter makes it harder to get into gears and also the msp Shifter is pretty short, the bushing and the fluid will make a world of diffrence
havent heard much about it. so i honestly cant pass judgement, i personally would go with one we know to be of high quality, cuz otherwise you could get hosed.....Puckpimp71 said:Anybody have anything to say about the Perrin SS yet? It looks interesting.
Yes the shield can be a pita but keep in mind you and I have different cat locations. The heatshield literally can be bent out of the way and then bent back. I'm not sure if you or I have a false housing but our cats, belive it or not, are located differently so that may come into play.MotegiMazdA said:not the exhaust...more like the heat sheild the shifter is above it and it helps to unbolt the sheild..gives you more room to play. its an easy install. took me an hour only because I had to get up and go to the parts store for the ring pliers. it'll be simple trust me.
