Short Intake / Not CAI

Aem makes a SRI for the 6i at least no idea if it fits on a speed, i have one for my six but i havent been able to install it because theres a couple tools that i didnt realize i didnt have during my install. :(

i left off an extra pipe with my 3076r kit to keep mine short ram. As far as with the stock turbo, nobody makes it yet. Sorry killer. And good luck to those who think CAI are better then SRI on turbo cars.

Doesn't autoexe have one? If I remember correctly its really nice looking, but pricey

Thank you!! At least someone can keep on topic here.

Yep. Autoexe produces a "ram air" set up with a CF shroud. However as with anything JDM, be prepared to shell out the big bucks ($700+). That's about the only short induction kit I know of for the MS6.

Other than that, your other option would probably to hack up a CAI.

Just a side note. What the heck is up with COBB's priorities? They'll work on induction systems, but won't lay a hand on the AccessPORT for the MS6 ECU which you MS6 guys need the most? The market is already saturated with induction kits! (notcool)

k (boom02) this thread has been on topic ??

hacking up a CAI is not smart, the mass air flow sensors are very sophisticated and airflow probably wouldn't be ideal after hacking anything.

also before yuu speak of cobbs priorities maybe you should talk to them in person, they are working on our AP. they are hard at work (and getting close!) on the MS3 AP, which can be applied directly to the MS6 AP. the ms6's will be released slightly after the ms3's (2thumbs).

on a side note they didn't put any induction system in front of the AP for the MS6? they designed that system for the speed3, and just happen to want to make it work on the speed6 so they don't have to design one (lol2)
