I'm looking to replace the stock shift knob with something else. I really don't know much about shift knobs but from what I have read it sounds like your shift knob needs to have some mass to it (lighter would not be better), is that correct? I would assume not all shift knobs are "one size fits all" or do all stick shifts and knobs have the same treads?
Looking around I found that TWM has several shift knobs that I thought looked nice, but they are all metal, I can only assume that during the hot months they would get very hot. Do any of you have any of the TWM shift knobs, if so what are your impressions?
Does any one have a Momo shift knob? If so what are your impressions of it. Do the threads on the knob fit our shifter?
Any thoughts, suggestions, or information would be greatly appreciated and helpful.
Thanks in advance.
