Service Interval

Is there any advantage to using a short service interval for oil changes?

Should the 5K interval keep the oil clean enough for to prevent excessive turbo wear?

I've always done 5k's on all my cars. Never any problems and I've had cars into the 200k range.

The service interval for CX-7 is 7500 miles not 5000

well i do mine between 3k and 5k depemdimg on my mod when i see it.lol

I'm doing 6,000 on my CX7 and the last UOA are good. PP 5w30 & OEM or WIX filters. I could easly go out to the 7,500 mile OCI.
