LOLz...omg...that made my morning!

And YES I had to put 4 of them...it is that funny.

Rush, we need an update on the new car hunting any luck yet? Or still hitting your(bang). lol

Still hitting my (bang) !!

I haven't received my settlement check yet from my insurance company -- I'm on campus right now, but if I get home and it isn't waiting for me in my mailbox, they're gonna be getting a rather angry phone call.

maybe you should put a pillow between your head and the wall.:)

Yeah, it's been a while now for that check to get there..

when stuff was stolen out of my car, it only took 5 days to get a check haha.

But i never ended up buying the items again... since i had to use the money on my car.

I was expecting some sort of delay due to the fact that I had to wait for paperwork from the insurance company to get to me, then once it arrived I had to fill it out and mail THAT back to the insurance company, and THEN once the insurance company received that paperwork -- they said they'd start processing the payout.

My dad also transferred his Protege (title and all) over to me, onto my insurance policy -- so of course, that's caused an adjustment, too. And having that transferred on sparked some changes in coverage, which I had to fill out MORE paperwork on, which I just had the chance to mail back today -- since I've been down for two days with a bad stomach virus.

So I'm not sure if the insurance company is waiting to get back ALL the paperwork from EVERYTHING before figuring out a 'grand total' that they owe me, or what. There was no check in the mail today when I got home at 5:30pm, so they'll be getting a call around 11am tomorrow after I'm done my first class.

This whole ordeal has just been the epitome of messy.

Welcome to the modern world of bureaucracy, Cindy!

And we wonder why this country is so F**ked up these days.

Ugh is just the word that describes it, imo.
Definitely!

I just did a lil' poking around, and the general consensus for a 'time period' to wait for a settlement like mine is about 30 days. Considering the signed title and odometer readings from my MSP probably weren't received by my insurance company until February 2nd .. I guess I don't really have any room to be complaining just yet.

But I will anyway, LOLz.
