so i got roadmagnet springs a few weeks ago and FINALLY after waiting to put them on i got to the shop and got the whole strut assembly apart and while putting it back on the top of the stock springs in the front was 4" wide and the roadmags were 4 1/2 so the strut stop which help it in place just kept falling through or just caving in....WHATS THE DEAL? why did this happen.... solution? happen to anyone else? it just wont fit right.

i dont know if i explained this well enough im just so confused, and bitter, and REALLY pissed off

Might want to check the part number man. I put my H&R's on this weekend and mine fit nice and snug up against that rubber cap piece. Sounds like the springs you got is either too big or too small, one. If you explain a little better and possibly do a picture, we could help more.

ok sorry i have a pic its a bad cell phone picture but if you look close you can tell the tops of both are different. so the OEM spring (on the right) fits snug on the cap like it should but when putting the roadmagnets on the cap would have a couple centimeters in between allowing it to move freely then cave in causing the strut assembly to go completely out of whack

i measured and the OEM is 4" center to center exactly and the roadmagnet is 4 1/2" center to center and lemme tell you a half inch can make a BIGGG difference

hrmm, my roadmagnets were installed by the mark and keith at their shop, so i cant really give any advice on this, but I know that if you email or call mark with your problem he will definitely help you out. Hopefully they didnt send you the wrong spring, but you never know... their customer service has been great with me, hopefully they'll help you out. (www.roadmagnet.com)

It sounds like you got the wrong part numbers or something man. it should not be like that at all. I'd check the number that was on the box and make sure its the one listed for the mazda 3/mazdaspeed 3. I am sure they will help you out...good luck!
