Right driveshaft boot.....why does mine look like this?

Just happened to notice that my right front drive shaft boot(the one attached on the engine side) looks like it's squished and twisted. I checked the other drivers side and the boot looks normal. I don't think it's affecting the performance of the car but was curious if this is something I should get looked at. Can someone tell me if this is just a rubber boot to keep dust out or if there is some sort of grease that's packed in there. If so I guess it won't be a DIY job to fix?

lol - that's weird man. Yes, there is grease in there, but can't you gently pull on the folds with some needlenose pliers or something and try to get it back to the accordion style?
