Removing dash kit

Debating pulling off my carbon fiber dash kit (real) looks kinda tacky/ fast & furious FTL. Any one have experience removing dash kits with good results. I guess just heat and an adhesive type remover (one that wouldnt hurt the dash (dunno) ). Suggestions appreciated. I guess if it jacks up the finish of the dash pieces I could always paint them a nice black.

park directly in the sun for a few hours and peel slowly. Then just use googone to get rid of any residue.
