well im thinking aftermarket for the springs, but i dont know about struts and stuff...i know theres not really much out there as far as aftermarket, just the mazdaspeed ones......

i was thinking more like a mp3 spoof badge, but i cant find anyone to make it...something like the mp3 badge design, but says like MP2.0 or MP2 or something. i just dont like the factory Protege badge...

yeah Cruzer i know is one of my companions...as is mbtfreak40, and a couple other guys...

Although, with all the rims out there....why the mp3 rims? Buy them from an ex mp3 owner or something. those things aren't cheap. I know first hand.

yeah exactly, there off an mp3, used, i only paid 300 for all 4.

the reason i wanted to make my stock car look like "another stock car" is because i really wanted the mp3 to begin with, but couldnt afford it. the differnce in price was roughly 5000, AND the best interest i could get would be 9%...well i got the ES fully loaded with 0% interest. So I'm still saving money, and my car looks like the car i wanted.

besides, I can't stand any of the other kits for the car with the exception of some of the JDM stuff, or the WW kit....but the WW kit is VERY similar to stock mp3

Im changing mine from "stock to stock" because I get tired of seeing my car being driven by every grandma in town... It doesnt get much respect looking the way it does now. Just like MP3wannabe I dont like the look of any of the kits out for our cars.... and the MSP/MP3 looks really good stock.

That's just them...i won't flame you. Your car looks good. I like the choice of aftermarket rims you went with. At least, you didn't go with MSP/Mp3 RacingHarts.

If you remove your ES stickers, you are telling everyone that you are ashamed of your car. You bought an ES--don't hide that fact. You have a great conversion. Be proud of it. Don't touch the stickers, and don't add any badges.

that's not 100% true!!! It's their choice.
In fact ES looks good but with conversion it's much better.
for example, replacing protege5 badge to familia to have JDM or EDM style. It doesn't mean they are ahsamed or their car.
They just want to have that look!!!

i agree with both of you. i would NEVER put a Mazdaspeed badge on my car. I feel the mp3 badge is ok because i have the mp3 body style, and the mp3 cdplayer. therefore the only that i am missing from being a TRUE mp3 is the suspension(although that is a HUGE thing) and a couple other little things. not like a Mazdaspeed, without turbo...

I never said i wanted the authentic mp3 badges, i was the ES 2.0 badges that damaster has designed. they look like mp3 badges, but they say ES2.0 instead. their like the MP5 badges many of you have on your cars.

Looks great and it sounds like it was a good idea for you too. Saving money on the ES, making it look like a MP3, saving money on the interest rate. Where there is a will, there is a way.

its mp3 bumper, the p5 has the side marker lights since it doesnt have them in the headlight assembly. i think thats the only diff. i dont have the wind splitter...i dont think its worth 200 for that...but thats just me.
