Redline Goods steering wheel

I'm looking into the possibility of getting my steering wheel wrapped by Redline Goods. I do have the Touring which already has a leather wrapped steering wheel, but I would like to go two-tone black and blue. Anyway, I contacted Redline about doing this since they don't have the 2 listed. They have a deal where if you are the first one they make a product for, then you can get the price refunded if you send them pictures of it installed. After a few emails I've learned that there are a few caveats to that. First, they need a steering wheel to develop the product. This means either sending them your steering wheel or letting them go out and buy one and then adding that to the price. The person I emailed with claimed that it's usually cheaper for them to buy a wheel on auction than for you to ship, especially considering that you can turn around and sell your old wheel on ebay. The other thing to consider is that the $100 installation fee is not optional. For an existing wheel wrap product you have the option of just installing it yourself, but since they have to install it during the development process anyway, you're stuck with it whether you like it or not.

Here are the numbers he gave me:
Wheel wrap - $100 (refundable if you give them pictures)
Installation - $100
Shipping - $50 (I thought this was a bit high, but I admit I don't ship a lot)
Steering wheel - $30-70

I plan on doing this eventually. If I'm the first, that's fine. But I won't be able to do this for a month or more. I just wanted to throw this information out there in case somebody else wants to be the first. This is a good deal if you were going to want them to install it anyway. If I am the first, though, then I'm going to have a black leather steering wheel for sale.
