My rear wiper quit working a while ago... My parents just never got it fixed.. Anybody have an idea on what I would need to fix it. Thanks for the help guys.

It very well could be the motor is shot. The shop manual has instructions, but IIRC you can get to it by removing the liftgate interior trim.

Alright I'll check that out next time I get a chance.

Just pull the back cover, remove the wiper and unbolt it and you've got it out. Check Rockauto.com for a replacement. Stupid question but did you check the fuse?

On my P5 the motor still worked but the shaft that goes through the window was seized. If you have someone turn on the wiper with your ear to the glass you should hear whether the motor is still working.

I check to see if I could hear the motor for the rear wiper and I didn't hear anything....

I cleaned out my closet and found my wounded rear wiper assembly if anyone wants it for free. Thought I'd post it hear in the hope that anyone searching for "rear wiper" might find this. Maybe there's a better way to post this... Anyway, let me know via private message and I can send it to you when I have a moment.

Details:
An assailant damaged not only the wiper blade and arm, but also the last part of the assembly that the wiper arm bolts on to (the bit that extends up past the glass when it's installed). The motor should still work fine, along with most everything else except that the tip of the shaft has been sheared off. (As an anti-circumcision children's/men's advocate, I'm not too wild about writing those words, btw. No, I'm not kidding, my website should be in my sig.)

Mad props to forum user burchett who had previously deleted his rear wiper, and sent me his complete wiper assembly in perfect working order.
