Rear sway bar?

Why're you getting a rear sway from a 99-00 Pro?

Yeah, that's what I was going to say... Your '02 already has a sway bar, and I think it's larger than a '99 - '00's would be. If you were looking into getting an upgraded rear sway, then that makes sense. =) Hehee.

Also it has been listed in Ractives catalog for a while. Since I ordered the 99,00 front strut bar from them I figured since they have the rear listed maybe they have it too. It has been in Ractives catalog since atleast the 2002 catalog.

. I wasn't aware of the rear strut bar.I for one would like you to get it, then, and post some pictures of it installed. I was under the confident impression that the 3rd gen sedans didn't need a strut bar. (or could even have one installed, due to the structures around the rear strut towers!)

Yes, I was lookinf it could deffinetly be made one of the things that could intefere is those child belt brackets it looks like and I didnt know if the 99'00 had them or not. Even if it doesnt work I think I could fabricate a new bar and just use the mounts. Even the mounts alone would probally help out since the strut just mounts to the frame and doest even have a metal frame bracket tieng the bolts together lioke the front does. When I get it I will let yall know how it works.
Yes with the frame connected or not that isnt going to keep your struts from flexing. That is part of the whole concept of the upper and lower bars. We dont have lower bars and some dont need them. Also that is even why integra type ares have a bar that connecte the top of the mount to the frame. It is to help the strut from flexxing. I am not a expert on suspension, but I know the basics.

I want to see this one. The conection between the rear upper strut towers is possible but rediculous and unnesecesary( I can't spell today). You would have to remove your rear deck cover permanently or cut it apart and piece it around the new bar. The frame structure around the strut housing is more than capable of keeping them from leaning so I don't know why you would say that it needs more support. The 99-00 ES was built on the same frame as our vechicle if I am correct. For 01 they just changed the front fascia and refined the interior. I still want to see what this forty dollar piece metal looks like. Not flaming but trieing to rationalize this.

I didnt see that as flaming but anothers own perspective. I think it might be able to fit without cutting plastic, but I am not sure ( if so it will be a tight fit. I just didnt know if the 99'00 have the child seat brackets. That is all. Also tell me how a sedans top is going to stop the strut top from flexing just becaus their is a metal thin strip across it. Conceptiolly thinking it is going to flex by the mount not flex the frame like it seems everyone thinkin might be. Like I said, conceptiolly thinking. Hey atleast when I get it done in 2 -3 weeks some more r&d has now been done. Dont try it , dont know. Hatch or not all the plastic will have to be cut. I just know that on alot of other cars that I have had and other people I know have had. The rear on fwd cars seems to make more of a difference.

the 3rd Gen sedans already have a rear strut bar. I don't know how well it works, but we sedans already have one (the P5 however doesn't). I read this in the FAQ that TheMan wrote.
