I know this was a problem for some people on the forums before... i was gonna take it to the dealership but the dealership i bought my car from sucks and i have made two appointments and then when i go to get it done the guy at the service counter is a complete dick and treats me like i dont know s*** or im not a damn customer and says oh well your gonna have to rescedule cause its raining or there is only one guy here... and at that dealership there is only one guy that works on mazdas... yeah and i have a tape of me and britney spears.. . all bs... but anyways,

Has anyone figured out a way to get these pieces to stay on? Any types of screws or anything??? I have my exhaust coming monday and i want to get all of that completed in the same day... for those wondering i bought the 3" downpipe with no cat from apexr1 and the 3" cat back with the apexi n1 muffler from apexr1... i can't wait to put this on the car... then im sellin my laptop and getting my taxes back... which means FMIC from Hiboost and Unichip. I have a goal of getting this MSP show ready by May so i can bring it down to Ocean City,MD and put it in the car show down there. Also with my dad's 69' Camaro Sunset Metallic Orange he is putting together now, and all my buddies hondas. But anyways, about the rear any help would be awesome.

Thanks guys!

hahaha lol not yet but ill put some up its real obvious, ill try to take some tomorrow and post them. I work late tonight

Yea... mine is sagging too bro. I took it once to the dealership and they wouldn't fix it. But that was for the front.

There Is 3m Double Stick Tape That Is Alot Better Than What The Dealers Use.... My Dealership Fixed Mine Though, So I'd Argue About It With Them.

when my rear one was saggin, they ordered me a completely new rear skirt from mazda and painted it for me. not perfect, but not draggin so much anymore...

Mine is starting sag again got to call the dealer...and see if they'll do it. GOod luck with your thing hopefully another dealer around can fix it

is double sided tape the only thing holding the rear skirt on? that cant be right .can it?

Yes, the only thing holding it on is double sided tape. Mine is sagging as well and you can clearly see the tape.

edit: It might not be tape, but it is short sections of adhesive...in any case, it sucks :(

is it possble to hae the rear bumper skirt and sides molded on to the car? I don't know if i said it right. same with the front unless your going to change your lip.

The reason i ask is so everyone or anyone that gets sick of going to the dealer won't have to once or if they get that molded?(boom07)

...Correct me if I'm wrong, but rear lip is attached behind the rear wheel in the wheel well by a phillips head (one on each side). Besides that it is all adhesive/tape. Without those screws the skirts would probably be falling off of our cars. Literally.

I had the dealer fix my sagging lip during my 30,000 no questions asked. It looks great after 5,000 miles.

The reason this happens is a combo of cheap adhesive, heat from out exhaust and the rich conditions of the exhaust. There are a couple screws that need to be removed after that gently take the lip of. Clean both lip and bumper very well. Go buy 3m thin double sided tape. Dont be shy use alot of it. And reasemble. only problem is if you waited too long and it has been hanging for a while the lip will deform. This happened to mine and it had to be replaced. So i would definately try the dealer first.

mine was sagging a week after i bought my car and the dealer fixed it. now it seems that the paint is cracking in a few spots on it...maybe they put it on at a weird angle or something, dont know, dont really care to be honest with you, car is going in shop to get buddy club and get repainted so im not stressing it anymore. over n out, 10-4, roger...
