In either case the terminal velocity of a car dropped in any orientation from one mile up is going to be much, much greater than 120mph, which is the speed usually quoted for a falling human in the spread out skydiving position. The car is a lot denser so it's going to have a higher terminal velocity. In any case, top speed while falling in a car isn't really the record I'd want to hold!
