Got here all back together yesterday and decided to take her for a ride in the country before making the 60 minute journey back to the apt. Melted a fuel injector wire this time and blew another fuse. So I unclipped the wiring harness on the side of the road and wrapped it back on top of the intake manifold for now. Fired right back up and now running an open down pipe for the next day or 2 until the shop welds the flange on the other pipe. The car feels so much more responsive. The powersteeing is fixed as well and feels tighter than before. Just waiting for the rear Enkei's to show up in the mail and will take those in to get mounted.
Went to go take the 12 ton press out of the box and put it together and found out the store gave me a winch setup for a flatbed pickup. Took that back and they swapped it out so this coming weekend I'll hopefully have the front wheel bearings replaces along with the interior, whole dash setup, and coilovers adjusted for the race wheel/tire setup. Then I'll have to check over the bushings and probably adjust the rear endlink to allow a little bit more play, because I think I'm going to have a lot more rotation than before with the meaty tires in the front. If anything I might just leave them alone for this event and adjust them after to see how much rotation I'll have and figure out how much I'll have to back it down.
