Rally Armor Mud Flaps "with pics"

A buddy of mine who has a 08 STI (white) that he only used the front rally armor flaps, didn't install the rears. I've yet to see it but I can imagine it looks pretty cool still!

I think the rears are just as important, if you look at a MS3 from the back, the rear tire sticks out further than the bodywork behind it.

As far as the flaps themselves, I'd love to have some but not for $120. If they were more "molded" and curvy maybe. But this is just flat sheets of plastic/rubber. I don't like the glossy finish either. Just my opinion.

I ordered a set of red and black for my CWP this morning and 2 hours later I got an email saying they were shipped. Damn good service if you ask me. I Hope the product is just as good. They'll match the black wheels with red lip I'm going to order.

Thats the color combo I'd go with too, post some pictures when you get a chance.

Yes I know the rally armor press photos are on a CWP but the more photos the better.

i need to see thes on someones car that has been lowered preferably w cobb's kit its one of the next mods in my head

If you look at Rally Armors press shots of the silver speed. That is my car with the Cobb springs. Look in the beginning of the thread there are a bunch of pictures of my car. I have had them on for over 1000 miles no problems what so ever.

I ordered a set on Friday and I had them by Tuesday. They were kind of a pain in the ass to install, as the instructions they came with looked terrible. You would think for $120 on something that costs $5 to make they would at least come with nice color instructions, but instead they provided B&W ones with pictures of stuff I couldn't make out what it was. Maybe the install was self explanatory and I'm just an idiot... I'm not sure. All in all, they're on, look pretty good and appear that they will do their job nicely, but DEFINITELY not worth $120. I'll get some pics up soon.

Edit: Do yourself a favor and use jack stands and take the wheels off... it'll make your life much easier. I learned the hard way.

Glad you received your flaps quickly. As far as your installation concerns, I would like to point out that everyone has access to an on line installation manual that is in full color and has very detailed and clear pictures. It can be found here:

As far as the price, we were very happy to be able to introduce the flaps for less than the Subaru flaps we sell. The least expensive Subaru UR flap is $124.99 and a more similar flap to the Mazda application would be the 08 STI flaps which retail for $134.99. I think that $119.99 for the Mazda flaps it a pretty darn good deal. I am not sure about you guys, but I personally think that for custom flaps that are cut to application, with the correct stainless hardware, custom brackets, with a detailed color instructions from a vendor that stands behind their product,...........$119.99 is a bargain. My time is worth money (as I am sure yours is as well) and what appeals to me about these flaps, is the hard work is done for you and it is made from a very high quality material! What more can you ask for?

My only personal gripe is that the MS3 is not a rally vehicle. However, it sure looks like a pretend STI with those flaps. I'm almost tempted to find out if they'd be willing to sell just the fronts.

These flaps are sold to mostly street driven vehicles, and serve the purpose of paint protection. That being said, I wouldn't say that the Mazda doesn't have rally roots...
