its .13, does this work with our car? cuz our radiator is smaller than regular p5s. I'm afraid something will go wrong.

this one increases pressure, isn't ours .11? I did have this on for a day and i had coolent leaking all over, i put it on right/tight i'm sure of it. Would not mixing water 50/50 with pure coolent in the radiator be the issue?

And yes, when you turn off the car with a higher pressure radiator cap it's going to come out of the overflow if you shut the car off quickly. Don't use this radiator cap unless you know why you need it.

There are two styles of radiators (and radiator caps) on the Proteges. Denso, and Calsonic. I don't remember which uses which, though.(monkey2) Edit: That's why there's both the pink and the green Mazdaspeed radiator cap. (silly)

at least im pretty sure they are interchangable but different pressures....maybe im wrong though..

automatic protege's and manual protege's have different radiators and styles, thus different caps.

Yeah and the pink and green can be interchanged..
If you're talking about the ones available from Corksport, they aren't interchangeable. They sent me a pink one and it didn't work, but the green one did. Just so ya know.

Here is my answer to Chinaman's PM:

By reading your AWR radiator thread I figured you knew the most about the caps. :) I was wondering if you could tell why there is the pink and green cap?

This was to differentiate between the Mazdaspeed Denso (Green cap), and the Mazdaspeed Calsonic (Pink) cap. The Automatic Transaxle Proteges use the Calsonic style radiators, and thus the Calsonic caps. The Manual Transaxle Proteges use the Denso style radiators and thus the Denso style caps. The caps are not interchangable.

Hope this helps!
