2013~2016 Rachet extension

I have a little 1/4" ratchet set that I use for the spark plugs. I doubt the handle is longer than 4.5" or so. Works just fine. Torque's only 14 ft-lbf, so any a ratchet of any length will do.

you're going to have to put in some real effort to use a 1/4" drive ratchet with a spark plug socket... spark plug sockets are 3/8" drive for a reason

I was referring to the extension piece, not the rachet itself.

Ah. Well, that piece is 3/8" of course. Was thinking of the effort spoken of earlier. Didn't see how the length of the attachment down into the plug socket would alter effort, so assumed people were speaking of the size/length of the ratcheting socket itself.

My own: a 1/4" socket set, a 10" long 3/8" socket extension/rod, appropriate "deep" socket. Never have noticed difference in effort with 6" extension rods vs 10". On the CX-5, I find the 10" easier for access.
