kendel7 Today at 2:31 PM #1 Will be changing the spark plugs in a '16 CX-5. Will a 6" extension work or will I need something longer, like a 10"?

RedBaron : 2014 & 2019 CX-5 Touring(s) Today at 2:38 PM #2 6" will be fine. Just did it in my son's 2014.
G GFrosty : 2016.5 CX5 GT AWD w/ Tech pkg Today at 4:51 PM #3 I have a little 1/4" ratchet set that I use for the spark plugs. I doubt the handle is longer than 4.5" or so. Works just fine. Torque's only 14 ft-lbf, so any a ratchet of any length will do.

T TheMAN : 2001 BJFP MT : 2016 BMYFS AT Today at 7:52 PM #4 you're going to have to put in some real effort to use a 1/4" drive ratchet with a spark plug socket... spark plug sockets are 3/8" drive for a reason
