posted this on the other protege forum and i havent got a response yet, so i mind as well post it here too
ok in the future, im going to definately be going turbo. i just dont know how long. now this is my question. i got a great deal on an Apexi n1 turbo muffler, but the only problem is that it has a 3 inch inlet and thats kinda big for a regular exhaust on a n/a car. so i was wondering. i want to get the exhaust put on, would it cause me a great loss of power if i got a 2 1/4 inch midpipe with resonator, and then i just got the axelback section made with the 3 inch piping, that way when i go turbo all i need to replace is the downpipes and the midpipe that way it will save me money in the future. or is it gonna create to much of a lack of backpressure?
