Question about brake fluids

I have to add more brake fluid and I have a question. Can I get brake fluids from shops like wal-mart? Or do I have to go to the dealer?

If I can get it from wal-mart, are there any special types that I should use?
(I'm new to all this)

Some Walmarts should carry brake fluid. If they have it there's no harm in getting it there. Use DOT 3 brake fluid - it's in your manual. That's it!
