Finaly got my ass down to California. Been busy getting settled in and ready for school. Can't wait to goto some meets down here. Any way, 3rd day here I hit a pot hole, cracked the wheel and tore up a tire. Hella ******. Goin to a place tomorrow to get it welded up. Good thing its in the back of the wheel, so cosmeticaly, idgaf

Bought a new wheel since the crack was gonna to be more to repair. Also decided to get new tires, 205/40 front and 215/40 rear, kuhmo ecsta ast's. One of the old tires won't hold air in the front abd there getting pretty bald.

So made a functional splitter right before I left. Its a ABS black plastic and is held in place with 4 different splitter rods which are attached directly to the frame. Its very strong and believe it or not the car feels a whole lot more stable at 110mph. Hit some tire debris on the highway and ****** my front lip up, literally ripped all 4 mounts off of the lip. Decided to zip tie it up.

I do hate these tires. That went out the window when I couldn't get enough camber to tuck them. Was poking mad wheel and tire. I think i can make 225/35s work.

love the protege man, definitely top 5 of all time. hey, im goin to be running 17x8 with a 28 offset on my P5. whatd you think would look good for tire size without sacrificing too much grip. i want a decent amount of stretch but not a ridiculous amount. theres lots of potholes in iowa.

Hmmmmm,I think a 205/40 would fit nicely with some camber. Circuit would know better than me. He's had a ton of 8s

For those of you who don't know, I was rear ended a couple weeks ago. Just got the car back yesterday. Wasn't that bad but I didn't pay to get it fixed so what ever. Looks good as new!
